Botanicals
Opuntia Ficus-Indica Seed Oil (Prickly Pear Seed Oil)
This ultra-lightweight oil is rich in linoleic acid, vitamin E, and polyphenols. It hydrates, soothes, and supports skin barrier repair, and is especially beneficial for sensitive, dull, or dehydrated skin. Prickly pear oil is non-comedogenic and can be used to help balance oily skin.
Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil (Hemp Seed Oil)
Cold-pressed from hemp seeds, and rich in omega-3 and 6 fatty acids. Calms inflammation, regulates oil, and strengthens the skin barrier. Hemp oil and CBD are different. Hemp seed oil contains no cannabinoids, but is still deeply nourishing in its nature.
Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil (Argan Oil)
Super-oil loaded with vitamin E and fatty acids. Helps restore elasticity, soothe irritation, and soften fine lines. Argan oil’s lightweight texture makes it suitable for most skin types.
Persea Gratissima Oil (Avocado Oil)
A rich, nutrient-dense oil with vitamins A, D, and E. Avocado Oil deeply nourishes dry or mature skin and supports collagen production. Widely hailed as a super-food, skin saviour.
Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil (Jojoba Oil)
A liquid wax that mimics skin’s natural sebum. Balances oil production and moisturises without clogging pores. Jojoba absorbs quickly and leaves skin soft.
Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil
High in palmitoleic acid, a fatty acid naturally found in youthful skin. Macadamia promotes cell regeneration and softens skin texture, it’s ideal for dry or barrier-compromised facial skin.
Olea Europaea Fruit Oil (Olive Oil)
A classic soothing antioxidant-rich oil. Moisturises deeply and defends against environmental damage
Tocopherol (Vitamin E)
A powerful antioxidant. Vitamin E helps stabilise oils in formulas and protect skin from oxidative stress. It’s essential for skin healing and barrier support.
Other Active Ingredients
Glycerin
Fact: A plant-derived humectant that draws water into the skin. One of the most skin-compatible ingredients, Glycerin hydrates and plumps the skin which is essential in any balanced formula.
Glycolic Acid
A naturally derived AHA from sugar cane. Exfoliates the top layer of skin, improving texture and tone. At the right percentage (like SACRA’s 6%), it is a gentle and effective exfoliant.
Palmitoyl Oligopeptide
A peptide that supports collagen production. Helps firm and smooth skin over time. Research supports their benefits for aging and damaged skin.
Salvia Sclarea Extract (Clary Sage)
An anti-inflammatory plant extract. Calming and safe, Clary Sage balances oil, soothes redness, and may help reduce acne-causing bacteria.
Naturally Sourced Fragrance Ingredients (And Why They're Here)
SACRA includes only plant-based or nature-identical fragrance components in tiny, safe doses. These are all naturally occurring compounds in essential oils:
